Site Replication



Steps to Setup the Local Instance (Site Replicating)
Prerequisites:
1)      Installation of  the JSK
2)      Installation of the Eclipse
3)      VPN connectivity to dev server
4)      User should be part of RestAdmin
Steps:
1)      Connect to Dev server by going to Eclipse>Windows>Preferences

2)      Next click on synchronize button to sync the site,content,assets etc , Once you click synchronize you will find the below screen shot. You will find two tabs One “Sync to Workspace “ and other “Sync to Webcenter Sites”. Use Sync to Workspace to sync and Sync Webcenter Sites to put it to the localinstance.

Below is the recommended order

Import Attribute Editors (resources=AttrTypes)
Import PageAttribute assets (resources=PROJECT_A)
Import PROJECT Flex Filters (resources=PROJECT_F)
Import Page Filters (resources=PageFilter)
Import PageAttributes (resources=PageAttribute)
Import PROJECT Definitions (resources=PROJECT_D)
Import PROJECT Page Definitions (resources=PROJECT_PD)
Import PageDefinition assets (resources=PageDefinition)
Import Templates (resources=Template)
Import CSElements (resources=CSElement)
Import SiteEntries (resources=SiteEntry)
Import all PROJECT_specific resources


3)      Get the sites,code etc, Next Go to Sync to “Webcenter Sites” and the details into your workspace


4)      Use Sync and Close to synchronize
5)      Next exit your workspace.
6)      Start the JSK
7)      Go to the Jsk installation directory  and create a folder of your choice, I created OCOM

8)      Next open the Eclipse pointing to the above location, purpose is to sync all the things from dev server to local jsk


9)      Next follow the Step 1 but connect it to the localhost, make sure JSK is running

10)   Follow steps 2 and 3, this shall synchronize to the local jsk
